Keeping the Dirt Out with KRW Side Guards
We attended Sandpit RC where the old school loamy surface proved a perfect test for our B44 and Infinity Chassis side guards. Here are some after shots showing how clean the chassis stayed after running 3 qualifiers and the mains.
Sometimes it Pays to be Flexible
Some like it hot, some like it cold, some like it in the pot, 9 days old. On one hand, I like the flex the X-Factory B5m chassis provides and don’t want to use the chassis stiffeners they offer. On the other hand, I want to mount my body with velcro. Enter side-skirts that don’t affect flex while keeping out dirt and giving you a place to slap velcro on your car! Testing B44.3 Side Guards
Without an under tray, it’s hard to keep my B44.3 clean on loose, loamy, and occasionally muddy tracks that Michigan outdoor tracks. Waiting for the perfect conditions to hit the track puts a real damper on practice, but I hate covering my electronics in layers of dirt that could be easily prevented. Time to make some side guards to protect the electronics from roost and give me a place to mount the body with velcro. Testing went perfectly after rain soaked the track and the wet loam stayed on the outside of the chassis all weekend.
