The Government
I called this pipe “The Government” all day, because it tried to take away everyone’s rights.
THE Series at Stateline RC 2015
While a light breeze and a mostly sunny day might seem cool and calming, the action at Stateline RC produced a storm of competition for the 4th leg of THE Series as 16 packed heats of racing devoured the track. Here’s all the action from the mains:
Keeping the Dirt Out with KRW Side Guards
We attended Sandpit RC where the old school loamy surface proved a perfect test for our B44 and Infinity Chassis side guards. Here are some after shots showing how clean the chassis stayed after running 3 qualifiers and the mains.
Logan Turner Benefit Race at Sandpit RC
Sandpit RC held the Logan Turner Benefit Race where 79 entries showed up to support the fight against Leukemia. The off road track was a mix of loose soil and clay jumps, providing a changing surface for those present and the oval classes were run on a smooth, banked clay oval.
Sometimes it Pays to be Flexible
Some like it hot, some like it cold, some like it in the pot, 9 days old. On one hand, I like the flex the X-Factory B5m chassis provides and don’t want to use the chassis stiffeners they offer. On the other hand, I want to mount my body with velcro. Enter side-skirts that don’t affect flex while keeping out dirt and giving you a place to slap velcro on your car! Coming soon to an internet store near you.
THE Series at TARCAR 2015
The third round of the series took racers down to Ohio. Rain earlier in the week provided an almost muddy track at the start of the day. However, warm weather and sunny skies meant the track wouldn’t be wet for long as it slowly transformed into a dry blue groove surface by the time the mains rolled around. Tire choice was key all day, separating those who came prepared from the rest of the pack.
I’m Stuck
When you sit back to relax after gluing all your tires and realize you still have glue on your hands.
