Ready Ralph & Random Roy: An Exaggerated Tale

Chapter 1

Ralph makes sure to store his lipo packs at half capacity if he knows he won’t use them for more than a week.
Roy ran his car until it stopped, put it away, and came back a month later. His car caught fire over the triple. It looked sweet. Nobody caught it on camera.

Ralph triple checked the new wiring on his esc before plugging in a pack and turning it on.
Roy didn’t. His eyebrows will grow back. Hopefully.

Ralph makes sure to set the EPA on his radio properly, so his servo isn’t under any extra stress.
Roy runs them maxed out assuming he will get more steering. He’s on his fourth servo, second receiver, third speed control, and got a new shrink this year. “Why do they keep leaving me?” he asks.

Ralph properly uses the tuning options on his esc and radio to make the throttle feel how he wants.
Roy decided his car had too much drag brake and bumped up his throttle trim. He left his car unattended and it crawled off into the nearby pond. “et tu?” he pines.

Ralph rebuilds his differentials and shocks before they get really dirty.
Roy waits until his car feels funny on the track. “Shock oil is expensive” he complains as his shock bodies bleed liquid sandpaper and differentials collapse at the mere mention of torque.

Ralph seeks out knowledgeable racers to help set up his car for his personal, unique driving style and ability.
Roy runs who-knows what setup and seeks out anyone to complain how bad the car is for him. Misery loves company. Companies hate misery. Too bad the company is run by the mafia.
